We often juggle their daily needs with our desire to raise kind, intelligent, and environmentally responsible children. We want them to understand the virtues of helping and sharing, and in our complex world, teaching our children to care includes teaching them how to help heal the planet. ###### Topics: [Community](https://www.evepark.ca/blog/topic/community) [Lifestyle](https://www.evepark.ca/blog/topic/lifestyle) ###### 1 min read ## [London’s EVE Park gets zoning approval](https://www.evepark.ca/blog/londons-eve-park-gets-zoning-approval) By [Construct Connect](https://www.evepark.ca/blog/author/construct-connect) on Jan 23, 2020, 11:55:00 AM [![](https://www.evepark.ca/hubfs/custom-video-thumbnails/EVE%20Park%20Teaser%20Animation%20(WITH%20logo)-thumb.jpeg)](https://www.evepark.ca/blog/londons-eve-park-gets-zoning-approval) ###### [READ THE ARTICLE ON CONSTRUCT CONNECT](https://canada.constructconnect.com/dcn/news/projects/2020/01/londons-eve-park-gets-zoning-approval) LONDON, ONT. — The proposed net-zero energy EVE Park residential project planned for west London, Ont. has passed a significant permitting hurdle, with Dec. 10 zoning approval from London city council followed by the expiry of the requisite appeal period as of Jan. 13. ###### Topics: [Press](https://www.evepark.ca/blog/topic/press) ###### 2 min read ## [Futuristic townhouse project ready in London's West 5 community](https://www.evepark.ca/blog/futuristic-townhouse-project-ready-in-londons-west-5-community) By [The London Free Press](https://www.evepark.ca/blog/author/the-london-free-press) on Dec 13, 2019, 12:17:00 PM [![](https://smartcdn.prod.postmedia.digital/lfpress/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/1213_lf_eve_2_75852608.jpg?quality=100&strip=all&w=564)](https://www.evepark.ca/blog/futuristic-townhouse-project-ready-in-londons-west-5-community) ###### [READ AT THE LONDON FREE PRESS](https://lfpress.com/news/local-news/futuristic-eve-park-townhouse-project-ready-start-in-byrons-west-5-community) It may resemble a grass-covered spaceship that landed in a west London field, but a developer believes a proposed townhouse project is the future of home construction. Eve Park at 1395 Riverbend Rd. now has the green light from London city hall. The 80-unit project in Sifton’s West 5 development will feature an earth- and skylight-covered roof that curves to the ground, giving it an other worldly appearance. Its futuristic design also extends to a unique mechanical lift parking garage with 84 spaces. The tower stacks vehicles in a lift system, which brings them to ground level for drivers. The tower design reduces the footprint of the building. It will include electric vehicle charging stations. “We are so excited. We have been watching this area for a while,” and the time is right to build, said Ashley Hammerbacher, Eve Park project lead for developer s2e Technologies, which has its Canadian office in St. Jacobs. ###### 3 min read ## [How to Reduce Your Footprint When Downsizing](https://www.evepark.ca/blog/how-to-reduce-your-footprint-when-downsizing) By [EVE Park](https://www.evepark.ca/blog/author/eve-park) on Dec 11, 2019, 6:03:00 AM [![](https://www.evepark.ca/hubfs/Blog%20Images/ReduceFootprint.png)](https://www.evepark.ca/blog/how-to-reduce-your-footprint-when-downsizing) One of the challenges of downsizing is deciding what to do with the stuff you are getting rid of. The community — part of the Sifton Properties West 5 project, billed as a village within the Forest City for the ecologically-minded and want to help fight climate change by reducing their carbon footprint — is designed to be built on a series of ringed condo neighbourhoods that blend into the natural environment. The company behind Eve Park, S2E Technologies, says the sustainable development won’t be just a place to live, but a way to live, too. This means it will include such features as a garage where autonomous electric cars can be shared by residents, as well as solar panels galore. Eve Park concept image (Contributed/S2E Technologies) “We’d really like to make a difference and save the world,” said S2E’s co-founder and CEO Milfred Hammerbacher. “I think it’ll be a great opportunity for London.” “Eve Park is the first neighbourhood of its kind,” S2E says on its website. “It marks a reset in the relationship between people and automobiles, and between automobiles and living spaces.” ###### Topics: [Press](https://www.evepark.ca/blog/topic/press) [![EVE-Park-logo-WHT-GRN-TRN](https://www.evepark.ca/hs-fs/hubfs/EVE-Park-logo-WHT-GRN-TRN.png?width=220&height=141&name=EVE-Park-logo-WHT-GRN-TRN.png "EVE-Park-logo-WHT-GRN-TRN")](https://evepark.ca) - [Home](https://www.evepark.ca/buy) - [Suites](https://www.evepark.ca/eve-suites) - [Net-Zero Living](https://www.evepark.ca/featuresfinishes) - [Community](https://www.evepark.ca/location) - [Our Team](https://www.evepark.ca/eve-team) - [Press](https://www.evepark.ca/press) - [Blog](https://www.evepark.ca/blog) - [Contact](https://www.evepark.ca/contact-us) - [Privacy Policy](https://www.evepark.ca/privacy) - [519-933-6198](tel:+1-519-933-6198) Copyright © 2026 EVE Park London LP.
